Chocolate and strawberry heart cupcakes for Mother's day!
Happy Mother's Day lovelies! I have been ridiculously busy as usual (the life of a mother is never a dull one!) But I managed to find time today to bake these cute little love heart chocolate and strawberry cupcakes with the help of Lil Miss 5!

 Because they are so quick and easy they are perfect for kids in the kitchen. Quality time with my little princess - sharing the love of baking - what a perfect mother's day! I know right?! (And yes it was!) 
Cutting chocolate cupcakes and cutting out heart shapes.
An adult cuts the "top" off the cupcake with a bread knife.
The kids then cut out heart shapes (or any shape really) carefully in the removed top.

Kids can then dollop some coloured buttercream
on their cupcake.
Place  top back on.
Now the pretty heart shows through!

Easy Squid Game Dalgona Candy Recipe (No Flame Method.)

□○☆* Last night I ended up helping my 11 Year old daughter to make the latest sweet trend inspired by the Squid Game series, using the available tools in our kitchen. [N.B. She has not seen Squid Game as it is rated MA however all her friends talk about it at school] We searched for some recipes but I wasn't about to use a ladle on a naked flame! So as I do, I played around to see what I could use with the existing equipment in my kitchen. ☆  Tip the smaller the frying pan the better. The mixture was so much easier when I switched to the  small 1 egg sized mini frying pan. (see video further down) There were a few fails.
